This policy is issued by RAJENDER TRADER, a proprietorship firm, operator of Rajender Mart, and forms part of our Terms and Conditions. Read it together with the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which governs what happens once a parcel comes back to us.
Where we ship
We deliver anywhere in India that our courier partners service, which covers the large majority of PIN codes including most rural and hill locations. Enter your PIN code at checkout: if it cannot be served you are told immediately, before you pay.
A small number of PIN codes are restricted by the couriers themselves — certain defence areas, some islands and a few remote districts. Where that applies to your address, write to us and we will try to arrange delivery by registered post instead.
We do not deliver to a post-office box. Please give a full street address with a landmark and a mobile number the courier can reach.
What shipping costs
Shipping is free on every order. There is no minimum order value, no surcharge for a remote PIN code, and no additional fee for choosing Cash on Delivery. The total shown at checkout before you confirm is the total payable.
Our published standard rate, which is currently waived in full, is ₹79 on orders below ₹999, and nil at or above that value. It is stated here so that the basis of any future charge is clear. Should free shipping ever be withdrawn, the charge would appear as a separate line on the checkout page and in the invoice, and would never be applied to an order already placed.
All prices, including any shipping charge, are inclusive of applicable GST.
Dispatch times
- Orders confirmed before 16:00 IST on a working day are normally packed and handed to the courier the same day.
- Orders confirmed after 16:00, or on a Sunday or public holiday, are dispatched on the next working day.
- In every case we dispatch within one working day of the order being confirmed.
- Working days are Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays in the state of dispatch.
During a sale or a festival period, dispatch may take an extra working day. Where that is the case we say so on the site before you order.
Delivery timelines
Standard delivery takes 5-9 business days from the date of dispatch. As a guide:
| Destination | Usual time from dispatch |
|---|---|
| Metro and larger cities | Three to five working days |
| Other towns and district headquarters | Five to seven working days |
| Rural, hill and remote PIN codes | Seven to nine working days |
These are estimates made in good faith on the basis of courier performance, not guarantees, and they are not conditions of the contract. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.
Who carries your parcel
We hand parcels to established national courier companies and, where a PIN code is served only by the postal network, to India Post. The carrier for a given order is chosen on the basis of serviceability and reliability for that PIN code, and its name appears on your dispatch email and on the tracking page.
The courier is our contractor, not yours. If something goes wrong in transit, raise it with us rather than with the courier, and we will pursue it.
Tracking your parcel
When your order is dispatched we email you the carrier name and the tracking number, and you can see the same detail at any time on the order tracking page using your order number. The page shows the stage the order has reached — placed, confirmed, processing, shipped or delivered — and links through to the courier's own tracking where that is available.
A tracking number goes live on the courier's system once the parcel is scanned into their network, which can take up to 24 hours after dispatch. Until then the number is valid but returns no scans.
Delivery attempts
Couriers make up to three delivery attempts, usually on consecutive working days. They normally telephone the number on the order before an attempt, so please keep that number reachable. Someone at the address may accept the parcel on your behalf; for a Cash on Delivery order, that person must be able to pay the amount due.
Failed and returned deliveries
If all three attempts fail, the parcel is returned to us. When it reaches us we contact you and you may choose either of the following, at no cost to you:
- Re-delivery — we send the same order out again, free of charge, to the same or a corrected address.
- Cancellation and refund — we cancel the order and refund every rupee paid, in full, within two working days of the parcel reaching us. There is no deduction for the outward or return leg.
If we cannot reach you within seven days of the parcel returning to us, we cancel the order and refund any amount paid to the method you used.
Refused parcels and Cash on Delivery
You may refuse a parcel at the door. A prepaid order that is refused is refunded in full once it is back with us, under the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refusing a parcel is the cleanest way to cancel an order that has already been dispatched.
Cash on Delivery relies on the parcel being accepted and paid for. Where Cash on Delivery parcels sent to the same address or telephone number are repeatedly refused or left uncollected, we may decline that payment method for future orders from that address, and ask for prepayment instead. We will tell you if we do.
Wrong or incomplete addresses
Please check the address and PIN code before you confirm an order. If you notice a mistake, tell us at once: while the order is still with us we can correct it, and if it has already been dispatched we can usually ask the courier to redirect it within the same city.
Where a delivery fails because the address given was wrong or incomplete, we still bear the cost of the return leg and still offer re-delivery or a full refund. We ask only that the corrected address be given before we send it out again.
Parcels that arrive damaged
The same 48-hour route applies where the wrong item or the wrong size has been sent. Full detail is in the Refund and Cancellation Policy, which also gives you 7 days from delivery to return anything unworn for any reason at all.
Delays outside our control
Delivery estimates assume normal conditions. We are not liable for a delay caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including weather, flood, strike or industrial action, transport or network disruption, an epidemic, civil unrest, or an act or restriction of a government or public authority.
Where such an event affects your order we tell you what we know and keep you informed. If a parcel is more than 15 days late against the estimate given, you may cancel and take a full refund.
International shipping
We ship only within India. We do not accept orders for delivery to an address outside India, and we cannot arrange onward forwarding from an Indian address. For a wholesale or export enquiry, write to us at info@rajendermart.com and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
